NINJATO

A fast-paced top-down roguelike shooter where YOUR power determines THEIR strength. Stack absurd weapons, unlock permanent upgrades, and survive increasingly chaotic waves in an arena.

CURRENT STATE - Alpha v0.1

This is an early playable alpha. The core gameplay loop is functional and fun, but expect:

 What's Working:

• 6 unique weapon types with stacking mechanics
• 3 enemy types with distinct behaviors
• Shop system with randomized weapon offerings
• Skill tree with permanent upgrades
• Wave progression with dynamic difficulty
• Expanding arena system
• Basic UI and visual feedback

Known Issues / Work in Progress:

• Limited audio/sound effects
• Placeholder art for some weapons and enemies
• Balance is still being tuned (feedback welcome!)
• No save system yet (skill tree progress doesn't persist between sessions)
• Performance may degrade in very late waves with many entities
